drooping eyes

hello, I have a three month old bearded dragon who’s eyes seem to be drooping. When I was researching it, it seems like it’s because of kidney issues because of dehydration. I was wondering if I’m just being paranoid and seeing things that aren’t there or if there actually is a problem. From some angles he’ll look perfectly fine and from others his eyes are drooping. I give him baths once a week or so and he always has access to salad with greens and some fruits and veggies. Also, if it is a problem should I take him to the vet or is it possible for me to rehydrate him myself? Like most bearded dragons, he doesn’t really drink. He drank once in a bath but that’s it. I used to have a water dish in his enclosure but it was bringing up the humidity and just took
up space so I took it out.

sorry, I meant to post the pictures, edited it to have some. He has a full spectrum Reptisun tube 10.0 uvb bulb that’s 24”, he’s in a tank that’s 36”x18”x18”, his basking temps are 95-103 degrees Fahrenheit, and he’s on reptile carpet though I am trying to get him tile since it’s so much cleaner. He’s fed dubia roaches, crickets, with the occasional hornworm and mealworm as a treat. They’re gut loaded with the same stuff I put in his salad. He mainly eats the turnip, collard, mustard, and dandelion greens and bok choi I put in his salad though I also give in bell peppers, squash, blueberries, raspberries/strawberries, apple, green beans, and carrot, switching it up every few days. He goes outside when the weather allows it and is monitored when he is. He poops every 2-4 days and I’m currently trying to potty train him since he doesn’t poop in his tank. The cool side of his tank is in the mid 70s and at night it drops to high 60s low 70s because I don’t have a night time heat source for him.

Your UVB is a T 5? How far distance from basking decor-- your taking basking temps w/ a digital probe thermometer? Everything sounds great! You don't need a CHE for nites w/ your tank in 70's that is good temp for nite time

Hi there,

His eyes look fine to me :)

From what I've experienced, droopy eyes isn't really a sign of dehydration. And sometimes it's just genetic, or they are going to be shedding soon. Either way, his eyes don't look droopy at all.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
