Draya the Classical Dragon

Draya is a 7 Month old orange/red German Giant Dragon that I have had for about 6 Months. My wife and I discovered one night a couple of Months ago that she responds dramatically to Classical music. She even has her favorites, particularly Il Divo "except for the Christmas CD". Whenever we put it on near her, she stops whatever she is doing and just sits still and listens. Eventually she will crawl over to the speaker and lay down becoming completely relaxed, does that little wiggle thing that they do when settling in to sleep, and eventually flakes out after about 6 songs. Funny thing though is that if we put on something that she doesn't like, she tries attacking the speakers.

If anyone out there has any other music that their Dragons love to listen to, please post it!

just had to say how cute , we haven't tried music with ours , do know they love to talked to and will sit and listen . have to try the music wonder if they will like Rod Stewart or Elton John better???????lol

Funny how breadies seem to love music, they all have their individual tastes... Pheonix loves acoustic guitar, he goes on a lot of road trips with us, he will glare when there is to much punk and arm wave when we are listening to mellow stuff, jack johnson or donovan frankenrider being some of his favorites... its tried tested and true!
When we went away for a couple weeks and he went to a babysitters he surprised his babysitters by running over to their son practicing his guitar just to curl up in front and listen! He also likes the jambee drum and loves when people come over to jam

I'm glad to see that Draya isn't the only musically inclined dragon out there. They must be like people in having their own individual tastes. My Son's Dragon Eragon actually gets his enjoyment out of watching him watch anime episodes on his laptop and video games on his TV. Here's a picture of Draya loving her Il Divo being played on my PC.
