Hans: 18 month male. Hans is rather plain looking. He is a real friend who loves to hang out with me all around the house. My Army son sent him to me UPS a few months back when he was stationed in Korea. Hans revived my interest in herpetology. While experienced in keeping many herp species, Hans was my first intro to Beardies. Hans is now 20" long and 460 g. He is currently considering brumation.
Merlin: He is a 5 month juvie with a gregarious personality and a voracious appetite. Merlin is a high color red morph with an easy going personality and a wide girth.
Elizabeth: She is a 4 month juvie, sleek and quick, a high color red morph who will be one day wed to Merlin. She is 1/2 Merlin's weight at 70g, and I'm trying to fatten her up.
Each bearded is housed in it's own Showcase cage 48"x24"x18". Basking temps on river rocks 105-110F for juvies, 100 for Hans. Cool side 81-85F. Diet and dustings of live prey as recommended by consensus. UVB provided by Reptisun 10's. Busy man caring for these wonderful creatures - Me.
