Hello,

Have you reviewed your tank setup yet, such as the type/brand of UVB lighting, the temperatures, etc with us?
Is his beard darker than usual?
How old is he & do you have pictures of him & your setup too?
He may have worms or parasites, or he could be too hot, or not warm enough. Have you fed him too large of insects that could have impacted him?

Tank size 20 gallon tall but will be moved in to a 40 gallon soon
UVB brand all things living tropical uvb bulb 13 watt there is something loose in the bulb I am going to replace it with a proper UVB (22" T-5 HO Fixture *High Output* with ARCADIA D3+ 12% HO Bulb is what someone recommended)
Tank is about 92 degrees Fahrenheit
Aspen bedding
How do I post pictures

Little guy looks quite lethargic. I advise replacing that UVB light quickly. The tropical 13w is not going to be effective at any distance. If the weather is nice out you could try bringing him outside for some natural sunlight and see if that helps in the meantime.

It's also important to have accurate readings of temps around the tank so I'm glad you have ordered a temp gun as well. The UVB light should be mounted over the basking area as well so you have a similar gradient with high UVB over the basking area and low UVB on the cool side.

I would replace the aspen bedding with something solid and easy to clean/sanitize. Non adhesive shelf liner is a good choice as are ceramic tiles or even sheets of fleece which can be thrown in the washer.

Given his weak state I would try the syringe feeding suggested in your other thread. Start with a little warm water dropped on his nose and see if he licks it up. If he goes for that, try a few more times with water across the day and then move to baby food. Squash, green beans, and sweet potato are usually popular choices. Try just a little at a time and see if he'll take some of that.

Ok I will replace the uvb gave him a bath this morning and he stuck his head up in the air and loved it I have been giving him water as long as he will drink it I've feed him baby food twice and he didn't eat too much should I stick the syringe in his mouth or just let him lick it off his lips I've also built him a tank but I don't want to switch him when he's sick because I don't want to add unnecessary stress to him

I wouldn't force him to eat it. Just drip it on his nose and let him lick up what he wants. That's a nice tank. How tall is it? The height will have an effect on lighting distance/placement.

The basking light should be fine but that comes down to temperature. It doesn't give him any space to climb though as furniture/logs/etc would put him too close to the lighting unless you suspend it a bit higher up. I prefer enclosures that are a bit taller, at least 24in, so there is plenty of room for climbing and the lighting can be set at a safe distance (12in for a basking light, 12 in for a T5 and 6in for a T8 UVB)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
