Hello guys and gals! Im glad to have found a great resource for beardie info. I recently had acquired 2 bearded dragons over the past few weeks. The first is a blood red translucent female that I got from my local pet store. No genetic information available so I just call it a blood translucent due to its dark red color, black eyes, and see through belly. The second I purchased from an online dealer/breeder. He is a translucent, hypo, leatherback and is so tiny. He only weighs 4g! The blood red trans weighs 9g. I have them together in a 40g breeder tank with a 160w power sun MV lamp as well as a 24" t10 tube. Temps on the hot side in the basking area are around 103-105*f and ambient temp ranges from 78-82*f through out the night and day. I'll post some pictures later since I'm writing this from work.

I have one concern that maybe someone will be able to address. The new lil guy trans, hypo, leather isn't waving back at the blood trans dragon when she waves at him. He spends a lot of time wall running and I think is really freaked out by her. I was going to let him acclimate for a few days to see if he calms down. I am wanting to keep the two babies together until they are about 1ft but will have to separate them if the lil guy doesn't get settled in. I have a second tank specifically for him. Its a 40g breeder with a 160w power sun MV lamp and a 24'' t10 tube also. It just doesn't have any stuff for him to climb on and bask on. Was planning on gathering those last few items over the next few weeks before getting him set up on his own. I may have to get them sooner if he is too stressed being with a larger dragon.

Any suggestions or past experiences with multiple beardies behaving abnormally would be appreciated. Both the dragons are eating multiple times daily. They really like baby dubia roaches, not so much veggies, and poop about once a day. Thanks again for taking the time to read this post. Hope ya'll are having a great day.

Hi. You need to separate asap! Before the one gets more stressed and starts having health problems. Also babies will attack each other and can do bodily damage to each other as they mistake a foot or tail for food.

Hey guys the little guy wouldn't settle in so I put him in his own tank. He is doing great by himself. Here's a couple pics. The first is the hypo trans leatherback and the second is the bloody translucent. Enjoy!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
