So Stardust finally shed, she was a very crabby girl for a day or 2, didn't want to be held or taken out of her viv. She's happier now. I gave her a small box just for giggles, 1/2 a juice pouch box. She has climbed in it and has been digging for hours. She comes out, basks, eats some greens & goes back in & continues to dig. She is about a year, about 19'' long, under a RS 10, 36'' in a 55 gal viv. Temps are good, 105 basking, 80* cool. Taken with digital probe. She is on tile so I gave her a blanket to sleep on - she did try to dig on that, too. Not as much as this box, though. She can't see Fred but I am sure she knows he's there. He's our 7 month old boy who has shown no signs of hitting maturity yet. I don't feel any eggs, she's nice and healthy chubby though. Wrong time of year for it, too, isn't it? Should I give her a sand box to dig in? She apparently was on sand her whole life b4 we got her. All morning long I have heard scratch, scratchscratchscratch. Is this normal or is she just goofy?
