Ok so this has been happening recently and I don't know why. All of a sudden a few weeks ago, my dragon has just became the laziest thing alive. He used to chase down every last cricket that was put in, and now... Maybe 3 crickets he'll chase if I'm lucky, and then just sits and waits till they walk by him and will eat them. Also he has been going to bed extremely early this past week, like 8.30 and lights out is almost 10pm. He also doesn't eat as much greens as he used to. Before he would eat a whole dish full, now maybe nibbles if that some days.
Also he seems to get darker for some reason. Not stress marks underneath, but his skales on top. Usually is a really light colour with purpleish marks, which still shows sometimes. But usually now seems to be a darker colour in most areas of the old softer coloured scaled.
He pooped every day or every other day normally, occasionally up to 3 days. I figure its just because less crickets, less waste.
Uvb is reptisun 10.0 linear tube, 6" away from him.
Hot side is 90-85 depending on temp inside my house, basking is 100-110.
Cool side is 80-85 most of the time.
He's about 7-9 months old and I've had him for 5.
He's on shelf liner and was previously on paper towel. No sand ever.
36x18x12(I know, I know its low) waiting till warmerweather to build a bigger tank.
Gets dusted crickets 5 days a week w/calcium 2x with multi.
Gets collard greens every day
I don't know what's wrong.. Seems too young for brumation, and this doesn't exactly sound like brumation either.
