If your dragon is in respiratory distress, an inexperienced vet may recommend putting the beardie on oxygen. The problem with this is that their breathe urge works differently from mammals. A bearded dragon, like most reptiles, breathes when it has too much carbon dioxide in their system, rather than when it is low on oxygen, and so putting them in a hyperbaric chamber slows/suppresses their respiration rather than supporting it.
