Dont know whats wrong :(

Hey everyone i think my beadier is sick but i am not sure entirely. This is some background information, he is in a 40gallon breeder, by himself. He is about a year and a half closer to two years. Basking rock is at 99F and cool side @ 80f, have reptisun10.0 as well. I bathe him once a week for about 20minutes sometimes a little less if he has a fuss. I give him greens everyday, although he doesn't really eat them all about half, and is still very interested in food when i do put crickets in there about twice a week you can tell he is excited. I dust his greens and crickets with calcium, and multivitamin every week or so (probably week and a half).

my beardie has been consistently going to the cool side of the tank for 3 days now, every time i look he is sitting on the cool end. when i reach in and pick him up and put him near his basking rock i can tell he is colder than he should be. Almost every time i see him doing this i put him onto his basking rock but i feel as if i am doing something wrong because he just keeps going back.

My only theory is that he might be a little compacted? i have giving him crickets twice now before he has pooped, but to be honest that is not really uncommon, sometimes he poops more sometimes less, so this might just be one time where its less? His beard is not black which to my knowledge shows he is uncomfortable. Also his stomach is clear white as to my knowledge that is also an indicator of discomfort if there is stress marks.

Any help, advice, or questions that i can answer would be appreciated as at first i thought not much of it but are starting to worry a lot.

Hi Randy....don't be upset about being overlooked, there are many people who read the threads but only several that reply regularly, and sometimes someone thinks somebody else will answer, or it just gets overlooked, but not intentionally. :) But anyway, can you post a picture of him, as well as the set up ? He's at the age where some beardies just go off food for a time, even a sort of a pre-brumation. And a few things to help him poo, try canned pumpkin, applesauce, baby food prunes or veg.oil. Any of those in combination with the oil, or alone, can help himto poo. It will also be good to bathe him every other day, lukewarm, and drbble water on his nose to get him to drink. More hydration helps them to poo. So far it doesn't sound like anything serious, but it's always good to check. :)

Also, folks who try to help often feel they have more knowledge on some subjects than others. I know that sometimes I really don't know how to help someone, or am not sure and don't want to give the wrong info.
There are also people here who are new to beardies and are looking to learn as much as they can from reading through the threads. I'm glad AHBD was able to help.

My girl has been kind of doing this too, but I do know she has parasites, which she is getting wormed for and will recheck her in a couple weeks. I heard sometimes they hide if they have worms. How does the poop look? Does it smell really bad? just a thought.

It has smelled worse before in the past. If I find he is eating greens everyday then his poop will smell worse. But to be honest no not really that bad , I don't notice smell at all till I get right up against the cage, maybe a little when you walk in the room.

Has your dragon ever brumated? Even though it is summer north of the equator - in Australia it is mid winter. Hence, although I am in California, I have a summer sleeping beardy ticking to the Australian clock... Keep in mind they have their very individual internal clock. You may want to consider that he is trying to brumate and provide a little hiding place, unless of course you have a serious concern that his health is the issue.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
