He buried her in my flower garden...I'm wondering if it's healthy to get this attached to a lizard lol...

That sounds like a nice resting spot. And yes, it is quite normal to become very attached to these little guys. Especially among folks on this board. I'm sorry to hear you lost your friend.

Hello,

I am so sorry, it is so hard when you are that attached.....I have been there. I can honestly say you wont ever get over her, but in time, it will get a little easier. Try not to blame yourself.
We are all here for you.

I just want to get to the point where I can enjoy my new one and feel like I'm not going to kill him..and ty everyone for being so kind.. The good news is the guy I've become friends with at our mom and pop pet store said that he would take care of Hercules any time I need him... He's a bit of a pro and knows when it's vet time.. We have a lot of petcos and petsmarts.. And the ppl are sweet but do not give out a lot of good information..,

I'm sorry for your loss. Your post prompted me to put a post in the health section. The topic is titled "It may sound morbid..."
I know you will do well with your new baby and don't worry you weren't too attached it was a living creature you cared for of course you were attached.

Again sorry for your loss.

So I got the near beardie...said he's a male...he's 12 inches long...compared to my dearly departed Juliet he's tiny ...she was about 10 months when she died... This one is 8 months...Jules was18 inches and fat... Do males take longer to grow? I asked them several times if he's a dwarf...was told no...said he'd get bigger in no time...

I don't think there's anything to worry about I have a small baby beardie lol he's so much smaller than my other baby beardie and they are both from the same clutch. I'm sure your little one will get a growth spurt soon :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
