So I got miss Nova in June of 2012. She was about 6 inches when I bought her and looking at a size-to-age chart I pegged her to be a little over a month old. Now being 8 months old and only 15 inches I feel she is too small for her age /:
She's fed regularly, given supplements and has sufficient lighting, but she also hasnt shed out in several months. I was thinking with the colder weather and brumation around that maybe this was normal and she would begin growing again come spring? Any ideas or input would be greatly apprecaited, thanks!

This was when I first brought her home, about 6 inches a little smaller.

And here are 2 most recent, she is 15 and 1/4 inches.

Miss Nova is very pretty + also photogenic. :) Her age + size are within the normal range. She may grow 1-2 more inches and be a smallish girl, or she may continue for 4-5 more inches. No way to tell really. There's nothing wrong with a smaller dragon, just like people, some are much taller/larger than others.

Well firstly, thanks! She is pretty darn cute.. and photogenic is her middle name. I have about a hundred photos of her and haven't even had her a year yet! I was mostly concerned with the lack of shedding part, but I'm assuming that'll come if/when she grows more. I'm hoping she gets a bit bigger, but regardless ill love my little angel anyway!

She is a cutie. My bd was about the same size at that age. We will both wait and see how big ours get.
By the way, I love the bamboo basking log
How did you make that?

I actually took 2 dowels and cut them in to pieces all about 6 inches then drilled small holes in the back wall of her viv and stuck em in. Pretty simplistic but I thought it was a neat idea

I like it. I have a glass tank but I am going to find a way to work it out.

One this you could try is a bird ladder. They're flexible so they're easy to shape and they may be easier to find a way to attach to the tank

There is a thread on DIY board about a homemade bamboo bridge that you could try for a glass cage. I'm trying to figure one out too!

Thanks for the pictures. I could make something like the rope ladders but bigger like the bamboo.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
