I have a zoo med deep dome lamp fixture with one of those heat emitting bulbs in it. this bulb does get very hot, but recently i noticed it wouldnt turn on so i took out the bulb and found this
The inside is all melted with stuff covering the wiring, and the bulb is broken. what i want to know is, was this at fault of the dome or the light?? can only certain domes hold those lamps?? if so what kind??
