Doesn't want to be touched anymore

I noticed that Pete no longer wants to be touched or held anymore. He used to love it. He'd always want to sit on my shoulders and would look out the windows. Now he hisses when I try to pet him. I don't know if something is wrong or if he's just in a mood. What should I do?

What has changed w/ the uvb surface basking temps-- is he showing signs of mating like head bobbing etc? It's mating season so can he see his reflection?

He can see his reflection in his cage. I've tried everything I can to get it to go away. He's also bobbing his head, as for the heating and uvb bulbs nothing has with them.

Ok so that is why the behavior- get the tank so it's out of the sun causing a reflection or move it to another part of the room so he can't see it
