Hi all I have a 2 1/2 year old beardie named Brodie 17 inches. He seems a little underweight to me. He RARELY eats his greens, but is always up for insects of any sort. I have fed him squash baby food but don’t do it regularly. Should I? My other dragon Drake eats his greens like a hoss. 3y/o 19 1/2 inches. NO THEY ARE NOT HOUSED TOGETHER!!!
So I am trying to find out if I need to just keep feeding dubias and supers and just offer greens, or syringe feed squash baby food.
He is housed in a 40 gal breeder; slate tile; 24" reptisun; CHE (no basking bulb). He is not all that active, but gets out from under his log and moves around. Not completely sedentary. He loves just being wrapped in a hand towel and burritoed up.
I know he was malnourished until I got him at a year old. He has never been a big fan of greens. Please share any tips or advise. Don’t worry about being too blunt about things I am just trying to do the best I possibly can for them.
