Does your beardie crawl onto your hand from his/her cage?

I'm wondering if a beardie every gets to the point where when you put your hand in they crawl on to be brought out. Does your's do this? If so, how do you train her to do that?

We have a new baby beardie. I think I would just like to see her WANT to be with me, not just tolerate me.

Lol. Sadly, mine won't either but once I have her out she won't let me put her back in...

She will learn in time. Just give her time, and a lot of patience. Our beardie likes to crawl up our arms and snuggle.

Mine won't let go once I have her.. but no, she doesn't jump aboard when I put my hand in. I have been seeing if she will. I assume that when she gets older, she may. She does jump onto my hand and crawl up my arm to let me know that she is done with her baths, though. But, she doesn't like bath time much.

I wouldnt take this one action to heart.
My girl is a complete snuggler and will often CLAMP onto me if i try to put her back before she is ready, but she will never jump into my hand. She likes to be lifted up lazy girl.

Its all about trust. It can take weeks and weeks to gain it, but its a beautiful thing.

My Abu does it all the time - probably because, when she wants out, its either climb on to my hand of drop 3 feet to the floor. Kazi has just recently started doing it (hes just gone 8 months) when he wants out but only on his terms - its a very rare occurence that he wants anyone near him!

Thanks for the stories. I'm sure she'll come around to liking me I was just wondering about the hand thing. Wasn't sure if I was pushing dog-like behaviours on her or not. I'll keep offering my hand before I pick her up and see what happens.

Mine too! That's the only exception to the rule. Nothing's worse than bath time to Kwayze haha.

Turbo has never seemed that interested to be out of his tank. When he is out (unless its night time and he wants to snuggle & pass out) he runs like a wildman, and if his tank is in sight he goes straight for it. Cammy seems to like being out more, as she tends to be calmer and sit with me much longer than Turbo will. She will also 'wall-jump' inside of her tank, and when she is doing that she sometimes jumps into my hand.

My newest addition, Demyn is very hyper and runs around like crazy and would never want me to pick him up until I took him outside one day for about an hour. Now every time I put my hand in the cage he jumps on it and sits on my fore arm because he now knows there is another cooler world beyond his.

Chicko will climb up on my childrens hands but not mine as of yet. I think it might be because the cage is very deap and he knows its harder for them to reach?
that is what it seems like..
as soon as they put their hands in he goes right into their hands..
