Im not positive but i think my beardi is brumating. First heres some facts. I got my baby beardi (not sure exactly how old) at petsmart oct 3rd this year. Ive been feeding him crickets as a baby (dusted with calcium once a day), as a juvi-sub adult ive been mainly feeding him canned dead crickets (which he loves more than regular crickets for some reason) wax worms canned silkworms collard greens and kale (dusted his food like twice a week), now hes pretty freakin big and fat, and i think hes bigger than most beardis his age (probobly fatter from all the waxworms). So now for the past like month he hasnt been eating much or doing much activity and not pooping much anymore, and lately hes been resting in his hide spot like all day. hes not impacted because he has pooped (not very often) and when i give him a bath i can feel that his belly just isnt full unlike other times, and hes also on newpaper so i highly doubt thats the issue. I dont think hes sick becuase i still take him out to give him a bath and when i do he just chills in there but when he wants to get out of the bath or out of my hands he is still very strong and fast, but only if he wants to. I thought maybe hes just so fat from all the wax worms i gave him that he just got too lazy to do anything so i stopped feeding fatty stuff (like wax worms) but the strange thing is that even though hes barley eating he looks just as fat as he used to (tail and belly). So the only conclusion i could think of is that hes brumating becuase now in australia its becoming cold so its his instinct, but the weird part is hes under a year old and i hear thats very rare so what do you guys think it could be?!?! any advice would be great
