so I've recently discovered it may not be supposed to look like this? so I'd like everyones opinions on my beardie's poop... also the yellow is due to butternut squash! and I've heard that a bit of extra water is okay?

if the poop doesn't look good, I think it may be because the temperatures aren't as hot as what it says they are. they say about 93-95 most of the day (it's a digital thermometer, not one of the dial ones)

That's a bit looser than should be. You're looking for a nice dark part with a white urate attached in a tube formation. How long has it looked like that? I'd look into lighting/temps first and have a fecal check done just to see if there's an issue.

I think it's the temperatures, I remember when I got her home her poops were how you described, and they've slowly become this. so I think if I get a light that reaches the right temperature that would help the issue?

the trouble about the fecal check is that I'm not sure where the nearest reptile vet is to where I am... unless a regular vet can do it? :/

Yes proper temps will help with digestion. If you don't have a reptile vet nearby, you can try a mail in test or use a home test kit.

hey cooper, I think I may need some help on how to do a test kit at home or how to mail a poop sample in. poncho's poop is starting to get stinkier I think? which I read is a sign of parasites. and it's still in a loose state :/

I'm starting to get worried, I mean I don't know how strong their poop is supposed to smell but it's a strong scent. she still acts fine, eats well, active, etc. but it's just her poop is a bit too loose... the digital thermometer reads about 108 unless it's inaccurate.

my mom was concerned about the "WORM-LIKE SHAPES" in her poop. I'm not sure what they are myself, is it just a part of her normal poop? here's a picture I took after poking it apart a bit to see better

As far as I know, the parasites are microscopic. The worm shaped bits are more likely food that isn't completely digested. Have you recently fed her anything that looks similar?

well, she gets squash, collard greens, turnip greens, endive, occasional blueberries. I'm not sure what could've done it out of those items... doesn't seem like any of them would?
she had just a bit of hard boiled egg a few days ago, not a lot

so I guess this is still bad news? :(( ah.. I was so happy today because her poop looked better...

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
