Being as you've only had her for not even 2 weeks, this started before you got her. The Powersun should not be thrown out at all, that along with the Reptisun mounted inside will give her plenty of uvb. If you want, you can get the t5 Reptisun that Ellen mentioned for an upgrade to the t8, but the Powersun will act as a good basking bulb even long after it stops producing uvb. So don't get rid of it, it's a good bulb.

Wow, I'm not paying attention today at all, I apologize, I didn't catch the "2 weeks" time period...I thought you had gotten him as his first owner. My apologies for that..but I'll stand by the T5 UVB tube suggestion, any dragon with active MBD can benefit from it.

The reason I spoke about getting rid of the CHE is that typically one correct wattage, bright white basking bulb and the UVb tube should get the temp ranges correct, but with the MVB bulbs you don't have the ability to separate the UVB light from the heat levels, that's why I don't care for them, I like to be able to have control over each separately. But as I said, I apologize for not realizing that you just got this dragon this way and just put him under the MVB and this setup, I thought he had been under this long-term and it wasn't working.

I would highly recommend that it be mounted directly overhead so that the UVB reflects
straight downward onto your dragon.

Thanks for the tip, I moved her uvb light to the top, inside of her enclosure.

Also, I will get her the T5 UVB in 6 months, when this one burns out
I really hope my baby girl Amber will be a happy, healthy dragon!

Thank you everybody for your suggestions! I will definitely post some updates in a few months when she hopefully grows into her under bite (even though it's so cute )
