Does the UVB tube need to cover the whole enclosure?

The thing is, I have my enclosure set up so that on one side theres a basking spot light and next to that is the tube for the UVB.

Does the UVB need to cover the entire length of the enclosure for her to be alright?
I put her salad and water dish on the cool side (the cool side is covered completely by the UVB light).

If not, then whats a good MVB bulb to get and where could I get one for cheapest since im assuming PetCo etc are gonna mark up the prices up the arse.

Your UVB strip should cover at least half the tank length, although many opt to use a longer tube and cover more. And correct me if I misunderstood your set up, but the UVB and the heat lamp should be 'one behind the other' at the basking end of the tank like this:

...so that beardie has benefit of both bulbs while basking. Aside from that, the bright spot heat will guard beardie's eyes while basking.

How large is your tank? If it's 40 gallons or bigger, you can opt for a MVB as you mentioned. The MegaRay is the best at http://www.reptileuv.com and the TRex, a close second at http://www.petmountain.com/product/...19/t-rex-active-uv-heat-flood-spot-lamps.html They run about the same, about $40.

Boga tank is set up with the uvb and basking lights at one end (almost half of tank) by her platform where she stays most of the day. The other side doesn't have any lights as it is the cool side and I keep her food there. When I am home she is outside in the natural florida uvb.
