Does he look healthy? your opinions?

Does glenn look healthy? his head is usually more colored and he's been much more pale than usual; i took his hide out because he doesn't nothing but pretty much stay under it IF given the option. I fed him a few supers a day for a few days while they were alive most died in transit booo!; and now he hardly eats any of his salad at all! His salad is made up of spaghetti squash; bok choy; red cabbage with a light sprinkle of calcium powder. Although he eats up crix like no tommorow but only if i stick him directly in a corner and put the crix right infront of him; if they go into different parts of his viv he won't touch them; he does run around a bit sometimes and keep his head up sometimes; but he looks sleepy lots!

Also on the right side of his jaw he's got brown and white toward the rear of his mount just along his jaw.....?

He is almost always found like this either in his sandbox; or around his viv;

What is the brand & number of your UVB? Is it a coil or Mercury Vapor Bulb?
What size is your tank?
What is the temp of his basking spot?
What is the temp of his cool side?
What do you use to take temps? stick on, temp gun, digital with a probe at the end of a wire?
How long do you keep his lights on daily?
How often do you dust with calcium? What brand?
How often do you dust with vitamins? What brand?
How often does he poop? What does it look like?

I don't put hides in my tanks because if they are hiding, they aren't getting adequate UVB or heat.

If you could answer these questions, there might be something that needs tweeking that will make him happier. He might be just trying to go into brumation.

What do you use to take temps? digital with temp probe
How long do you keep his lights on daily? 12 hrs 8am -10:30
How often do you dust with calcium? What brand? every meal of crix so like 3-4 x weekly Jurassi-Cal by Calci-pet
How often do you dust with vitamins? What brand? I don't have vitamins
How often does he poop? What does it look like? once a week maybe twice a week; smells super rank!; i'll take a picture next time, solid, with fluids around with normal white urates

***How old is this bulb? It is one of the worst bulbs cause it has a history of causing eye and health problems. You need the ReptiSUN 10 fluorescent tube. PetMountain.com has the best prices online. Until you get your new bulb, make sure you keep his heat light right next to the UVB so he gets benefit from both at the same time.

***You need to dust with vitamins once or twice weekly. It is a jar just like the calcium except it is blue.

***It may be really smelly because he may have worms. You should probably take a poop sample to a reptile vet for a fecal.

He looks a bit off to me. The bulb will make the ship- that alone will make a BIG difference. HUGE. How long have you had him?
I would get him checked out, get his fecal run and go from there. He should have his head and look more alert.

As far as the crix go, my guys are lazy, and I have to put them right in front of the feeders. If the roaches/crix take off..Lola will just sit and wait for me to bring it back. Sometimes it takes half an hour of stuff before I'm done feeding her. LOL...uh huh :whip:

I don't get it i just went to my usual pet store they told me they're exactly the same bulb (reptisun and reptiglo) 10.0 36" florescent

they said not bad for them at all and actually talked me out of a 40$ sale....? they said their's no actual fact or proof that reptiglo is a bad light.....

Hi...As stated on here many times, most pet stores' employees are not properly trained. The ReptiGlo and ReptiSun are NOT the same. Test after test have proven that the ReptGlo causes problems with their eyes as well as causing other health problems. There have been numerous people on this forum who had problems with their dragon while using ReptiGlo 10. Then within a few days after changing to ReptiSun 10, the problem went away.
