Does Ballast type matter?

Im looking into upgrading my new dragons uvb dome light to a 36" light ballast. I came across 2 light ballasts while both being high Output, one is marketed for aquariums and the other for reptiles, does anything else matter?

only thing i can maybe think of is reflectivity within the dome?

Get the Zoo Med and an Arcadia T5HO 12%UVB tube to match .

I don't know if the LED array buitin to these have a good broad UVB spectrum output.

I'd be looking for simple a T5HO reflector hood designed for reptile vivs no longer than 2/3 the length of the viv , make sure it has a good reflector built in.

A good ballast is important and a high quality reflector is just as important. If you want something 36'' I'd go with this one http://www.lightyourreptiles.com/34-t-5-ho-fixture-high-output-with-arcadia-d3-12-ho-bulb/ It's what I've used for years and it's great.

Thanks for the replies. Going to take my chances on the reptisun ballast, more money...but also more aesthetically pleasing.
