does anyone have any suggestions or is my set up ok?

i have a 20 gal long terrarium with paper towel subrate for now.... he has the branch that reaches about 10 to 12 inches from the mvb bulb. also has a water dish and food dish. but i also dont know how to position the probe on the thermometer... i have pics if someone can show me or tell me how to post them...

you would position the probe on the surface of whatever the bd lays on.

but wat if he tries to bite or eat the probe or the wire?

didnt think about that, my just ignores it. maybe take it out of the tank if you cant keep an eye on him, untill you can find out if he wants he eat it or play with it or anything.
