Does a tank need to be completely sealed?

I found a 100 gallon tank on craigslist for really cheap because it needs to be resealed. Originally it was used for fish so obviously they thought that no one would want a tank that doesn't hold water. But I would love a large tank for my beardie! Especially a cheap one! So my question is, does a bearded dragons tank need to be completely sealed? I can always fix it too, but it would be way easier to not have to fix it. haha.

No, as long as the structure is sound + strong it doesn't matter a bit if it leaks. I have a 300 gallon that a pet store threw away, I've used it for years.
