Do you have stuffies/blankies in your viv?

I just bought Dudley this awesome huge new food dish... Problem is, he is scared to eat out of it :roll: I was expecting that he would actually go into the dish to find his favorite foods and pick through his salad, but nope. Beardies are so strange...

Anyway, since he wont eat out of it, I thought that maybe I would put his blankie in it so it could be a little bed for him. I could find him a cute little lizard stuffie "friend" too! Hehe

Does any ones beardie actually sleep with their blankies and stuffies in their viv? Im not sure if Dudley would even notice it, but it would be pretty cute if he did!

Definitely!!! Griffin has a seahorse stuffie and he absolutely loves it. He slept on it every night when he was a baby (pictures in my blog) and he is crazy about soft things. He loves blankeys, towels and pillows. You should definitely get your beardie something soft!!!

Theres always a chance he might sleep on it if its comfy! I'd just make sure to keep it clean. My beardie doesn't sleep in any of his hides, he sleeps out in the open or sometimes even standing up... When he was little he used to sleep in a food dish.

Dudley usually sleeps in his hammock at night, unless I cuddle him to sleep in a burrito. I think Ill try putting his plankie in there tonight, and see if he likes it. :mrgreen:

My rabbit has a stuffed elephant dog toy that he doesnt play with any more, so I think Ill give Dudley that... If my rabbit couldnt tear it apart, Im pretty sure its beardie-safe too!
Dudley has potty trained himself to only poop in one corner of his viv, so Im not worried about him going on his blankie. So far, so has never pooped anywhere else than that corner, LOL!
