I'm thinking about breeding Superworms... (I'm gonna experiment with it tomorrow) and I was just wondering... do the beetles fly? Because most beetles that I've ever seen fly... and I'm not good at containing flying things... that's why I'm not bold enough to try breeding phoenix worms yet...

As a general classification beetles have wings.
Beetles with no wings look similar to beetle larvae, so they are called larviform.
The mealworm and superworm beetle is called a Darkling Beetle or Darkening Beetle.

But, they can fly. This is typically when they are in search of food. If they have ample food and water, they have little reason to leave and won't take flight as a result.

I managed one beetle, granted I didn't give it much care at all. I keep putting the carpet beetles I receive from buying crickets in bulk, in a separate cricket keeper. Trying to get carpet beetle larvae. Throw the 1 darkling beetle in with them and the carpet beetles killed and ate it. LOL just thought I would share.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
