Hi

I'm sure someone can help me.

I have had my beardies for nearly 3 weeks. They are about 18 months old. They were housed together but are now seperate. Since they have been seperated the female laid a clutch of eggs :D

Anyway, for the last 5 days the male Rocky, has not pooped, but he also hasn't eaten much either. Do i need to worry.

I had them both checked by a reptile vet last week an she went through all the husbandry so i know that temps an lighting is right, and she said they were both very healthy dragons :p

He is still active and alert. I have bathed him too an still no poop.

As i am a new beardie owner i just want them to be happy, and hope that i am not just being paranoid

Thanks in advance for any info :)

It's very common for beardies not to poo especially when a lot of changes have been going on. Give him a day or 2, and he most likely will go. If not, you can try baby food prunes, or olive oil to help move things along.

Oh, that's common. Pooping is not an everyday occurance for beardies  Are the eggs fertile? I bet that's exciting!

Hi

yeah they are fertile, well, i am assuming they are. I didn't have them when the dirty deed was done  but as they were in the same viv, i am guessing that they are. They are in the reptile centre for incubation so i guess they will inform me if they aren't.

I hope he poops soon :?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
