Do brumating beardies need light?

Pippin is brumating but I'm not sure if she needs light or not. If she does, how long does she need it for? I've been waking her up at noon and turning her light off at four PM. Is this necassary or not? When she is not brumating, I wake her up at eight in the morning and put her to bed at eight at night.

i dont think there is a definate answer to this...
this is what i do:
summer time lights are on for 12 hours
winter 9 hours

i leave the lights on because in my head i think well its winter, which means its colder in the house and the light is the source of heat so i leave it on. i'm sure others do this differently and if someone reads this and i'm doing it wrong please tell me lol!!!

well i have to leave for work early so all my lights are on a timer but my lights come on at 730 and are off about 5 i think it is.... really its what works best for you...

So the uvb can be switched off and just the basking light left on, is this right?

mine are both on during those times... just incase he decides he wants to come out and bask and soak up some uvb... (i cant wait for spring) i miss my phoenix.....
