I've always wondered if it's just me, but has anyone else ever noticed that their beardie has a unique scent to them? My 10 month old female loves snuggling, sometimes likes to cuddle my face, so whenever she gets close to my nose, I pick up a smell to her skin that smells oddly like roses...and usually it's strongest after she's eaten plenty of her leafy greens that day. Not complaining! The smell is delightful, and I've even had another woman at a local herpetological society meeting that was holding her tell me that my girl smells good.
I guess I'm just curious - do they have phermones and they give off their own unique scent that attracts other beardies to them, just like people have their own scent that attracts others of the opposite sex?
