do beardies burp ??

so today after giving my beardie a shower i put him down onto my stomach and he opened his mouth and made a noise that sounded kind of like a cough but kind of like a burp .... he's never done this before ever but he did drink a lot of water in the shower could have been like a burp or something ? should i be worried ?? i am calling the vet tomarrow to check up on his poop sample he had an injury that we are still working on taking care of but yea i'm just kinda unsure of what this was ?

It's very possible that he drank some water + seemed to "burp". As long as he doesn't do it repeatedly or seem to make a wheezing or popping sound [ which could be a respiratory infection ] then he should be fine.Be careful that he doesn't aspirate water when you bathe him.

Aspirate water like breathe it in ? I don't think he did but I'll deffinately keep an eye on that and make sure it doesn't happen again it was just weird and then he looked at me after like what the heck was that mom
