DIY Shed Soak?

Hi guys,

I'm a first time beardie mom with a 4-month-old male citrus tiger, Mushu! He's 8 inches and 50g and is currently stuck in the middle of a shed. I got Zoo Med Repti Shedding Aid Spray from PetSmart and after reading the label it seems like it would be really easy to make a diluted version that would be safe for Mushu to soak in. Does anyone have experience making beardie moisturizers?

The ingredients in the spray, that actually worked really well for Mushu's tail, are listed here:
Water, soluble hydrotope, glycerin, jojoba oil, vitamin E acetate, oil base.

I've found that they do pretty well shedding without our interference in most cases. If there is a thick area or shed that isn't coming loose well I put some plain aloe on the area.

Yep, I bought HerpaShed to help my skinks shed occasionally, also used it occasionally on my beardie when they a stubbornly adherent area of shed.

Does it help - I think it doesn't hurt.

I tend to let the lizards deal with their own shed unless a bit is hard to get off then I'll help but this doesn't happen often.
