Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and have come up with fun ideas on how to create fake logs with PVC. Now I know that this has been done for a while, but I have found that using ABS black pipe is better than standard PVC. For those of you wondering the difference between the two, just look up ABS vs. PVC. The differences are minimal and ABS piping is still used for water and not sanitary (aka the number 2 of the world).
If you have a dremel, torch, heat gun, respirator, and some gloves you can make your own hides that look like these:
I've had a lot of fun making these and would be more than happy to give anyone tips. I'm actually trying to start a Kickstarter campaign around them!
