Hey guys, I have a dubia colony thats been up and running for a while now (awesome to have a supply of free food) A couple days ago, however, I noticed a bunch of fruit flies that have apparently taken up residence with my roaches. does anyone know of a good way to get rid of these pesky buggers without killing the roaches? this is so annoying!!!

Also, I have tried a few times to keep silk worms to no avail (I successfully raised and bred some from eggs a few years ago, but have been failing since) does anyone have any tips for how to keep them easier? (obviously Ive been cleaning everything in alcohol and refraining from touching them) I have also been using that plastic mesh stuff that allows their poop to fall through but not them...still no dice

For silkworms, Im not sure because I have no experience with them.

But for the dubia, I used to get little fruit flies, I would just take the bin outside, clean it really good, the flies would fly away and I would make sure none were in with the dubias, then just put it back.

Ever since I've moved my bin to a small closet, I have had no problems with fruit flies.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
