So, back in the days before I discovered this forum, I had my dragon on sand. Well, the time has come that I want to get rid of ALL of it, so far I've only been able to get rid of most of it. Any advice for ditching the sand? I've got slate tiles at the ready.

Just get some one to hold your beardie or put him in a plastic container and go outside and dump it or dump it in a trash can then hose it out and be sure to take the chance to clean it with some dawn dish detergent.

Maldesto- A lot of times, younger beardies can ingest the sand and it can cause an impaction. That and I'm having a horrible time sanitizing my tank overall without spraying the sand.
NuKe- thanks for the advice, I should have mentioned that I'm trying to do it without lifting the tank, I keep throwing my back by lifting heavy things. I may try that with one of my roomies.

All of the above, finally go the sand all cleared out! Nox wasn't too happy, he had to be out of his cage the entire time and got a bit cold, and all of his stuff is soaking to get the rest of the bleach out. I'm so happy, I'll never have to use sand, ever, ever again!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
