Disgusted by silks?

I got my order in from lindasgonebuggie.com yesterday, and I wanted to give my little boogers some horns and silks since they had never tried them before. Iksar snapped everything up happily, but Reptar spat his silk worm out in disgust. He chomped, stopped in his tracks, gently spat it out of his mouth and then backed up and stared at it. He really hated the silk. Has anyone ever had that reacton to a silk worm? Granted it exploded in his mouth with orangish goo... :?

I was gonna try silks but after that i've been put off lol. Ive only heard positive things about them- your beardie must be very fussy

they all have their different tastes in food. My dragons won't go anywhere near apples or anything related to it. I tried a few times, they got mad and refused to eat until I made a new salad.

That's funny! I have 1 who won't touch Dubia, 1 who won't eat hornworms, 1 who used to only eat white supers...Geeeeeesh, spoiled bunch! Silkworms are so nutritious though, I would offer them to him again....

Sorry I didn't get back quicker! He ate them just fine the next day, and, like I said before, his sister eats them just fine and always has. He eats them slowly and licks his lips afterward, but he is eating them!
