Disenfect Rocks-can't find a 'QUAT' ? about alternative

Found some great info on 'QUAT' disinfectants from a couple of posts, but I'm having a hard time finding one and really need to switch up my beardie's basking spot tonight. I'll probably end up using bleach this time around until I can order one online and was wondering how much to dilute it. I was going to put the rocks in the sink with the bleach solution and then rinse them off / let them dry really good afterwards.

How much bleach would you recommend putting in per one gallon of water for this project? I keep hearing different amounts.

Dilute the bleach really well, like put one half (1/2) of the lid of bleach into 1 gallon of water. Just wash the rocks with the bleach/water solution, then rinse them really well. At least until you don't smell the bleach on them any more. Don't soak them in the solution, just wash them in it. Then when you're done rinsing them, let them air dry. That's how I've always done it.

For disinfection purposes, you want a 10% bleach solution. So roughly 1.5 cups of bleach to a gallon of water. As for QUATS....if you have a home depot nearby, you can get a product called Simple Green-d Pro 3. Its a QUAT based disinfectant and cleaner.
You can also find it at Office Depot and probably Staples.
