Dirty Jobs at Ghanns cricket farm

Did anyone see the Dirty jobs episode with Mike Rowe at Ghanns cricket farm? It was super cool to see what all that goes in to running a big operation like that and it make you wonder what kind of profits they rake in every year! I got my beardie out and made her watch :mrgreen: she stuck her nose up and opted for a run on the couch instead ! I'll tell ya beardies these days have no appreciation for where their food comes from. Just assuming my magic hand waving makes them appear for her scarffing ..!!! :lol:

I saw it also. Very interesting how it all works. Too bad Reggie has decided that crickets are not good enough for him! He's got his first cup of full size hornworms arriving today or tomorrow. I can't wait wait to see his reaction when he sees one of those.

I saw it- man it was cool! Very neat and efficient operation- who would have thought crickets could be so interesting.....But I still don't like the smell of 'em!

Just smelling the bin here at the house can turn my stomach...can you imagine how bad it smelled there? It was a pretty neat show to watch though.

Yes they do stink I hope I can handle the smell when I start housing more than 60 at a time. Im pretty good about keeping there bin clean though. I dont think its ever gone more than three days without a cleaning!! Let me know how those horn :twisted: worms go I might give them a shot sometime!
