Digs when light goes out

So whenever the lights go out every night, Ender runs around a lot and digs at the edges of his carpet until he finally settles down and finds a place he wants to sleep. Do anyone else's beardies do this? Do you think he'd appreciate something to dig at/hide in (a cloth or something)?

Jupiter does the same thing. Some times I put him on a towel and he seems to like it.
