Different Vet-Gave Injection into back

So about I month ago Rael was given two injections in his arm of Amiglyde .05 both times and he seemed to get better. It seemed to come back last week, so we had another vet appointment and another shot of Amiglyde .05ccs right along his spine. He at least did it in front of me rather than taking him in the back like the other vet to give him his shots. To give it along his spine though, he is still gaping a lot and I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Wow sorry to hear that!
Where on the back was the injection given? I hope he didn't hit a nerve or something. Is he having any trouble walking?
Do you have any pictures of him?

Hi Tracie,
He gave it to him about half an inch from the base of his neck. Of course!! Is this okay? He isn't having any trouble walking.

Ok, thanks. It should be given in the shoulder fat pad area though for safety.
How is he doing today?

Hi,
He seems to be doing well. He's only gaping a little bit and seems to be breathing better. He is also eating better and has one more shot on Monday. Is there normally an environmental cause for RI? He seems to have not kicked it from last month or got another one. I hate to think I'm doing something wrong.
