I have two concerns for Alvin. He is 21 months old.
Concern 1
He has acted as if he wants to go into brumation so I let him hide out and sleep and I just turned off his lights. I gave him a bath once a week as suggested and the first time, he went didn't want anything to eat and went right back to sleep. He slept another week and after his second bath, he seemed more alert and wanted a little to eat. He has been getting up ever since and sitting on his basking spot. However, he still isn't eating much and his beard gets dark frequently unless I am holding him. Is he just wanting me to get him out and hold him or should I be worried?
Is he still brumating even though he is basking or should I be concerned? His poop looks and smells normal but it isn't much as he is eating very little. His temps are all fine (80 on cool side and 95-105 in basking area) and I use a repti-sun 10.0. His flooring is slate.

I was feeding him crickets, greens, and occassionally superworms. About a year ago, we moved and he was stressed so I started hand feeding him w/canned crickets coated with baby food squash and dusted with vitimins and calcium and also hand feeding him squash coated greens. Ever since then, it is all I can get him to eat. I can't get him to feed himself with live food and I have put it up to his mouth and when he opens it I stick it in and he eats til he doesn't want anymore.
Is it normal for him to not be eating much right now? He definately isn't skinny but has lost some weight which was probably needed. Is there a way to get him back to eating the live food on his own again or does it matter?
