Hello Everyone,
My last little girl passed away a few months ago due to liver complications. I feel ready for another, but this time I'm going to rescue from craigslist rather than getting a baby from a petshop. I found a 9-month-old dragon in need of a home, but he's a leatherback. I've heard they have a few different care requirements. Does anyone have any experience here?

Thank you

Hi there, I've raised many of them from the egg. There is no difference in their care at all. :) Only silkbacks , which have no scales but only soft skin, require slightly lower temps. and need to have aloe or other suitable lotion applied to their skin sometimes.

Hello! I have a leatherback, and no special or extra care is needed. As mentioned by AHBD, only 'silkies' (leatherback x leatherback) need a different care level.

Thank you everyone! What's the difference between a leather and a normal dragon then? Just smaller scales?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
