the sandfire morph is a line originated by sandfire dragon ranch
the term citrus covers a wide array of dragons and varying levels of color. Ranging from the dullest to the brightest oranges to the most fluorescent yellows.
Sorry about putting this query in the wrong category.
I was given 17 eggs (and an incubator) to finish hatching and were told the parents were Sandfire. The guy who gave them to us had to go to work out of the country and couldn't find anyone else to do it for him and the babies would hatch before he returns. It's new to us so we're hoping they do well. They are supposed to hatch around the 9th or 10th of April.
Any advice on a sucessful hatch would be appreciated.
We have 3 extra tanks in the house to put the little ones once they do hatch. Thinking of using paper towel as substrate. I know I'm supposed to leave the little ones in the incubator for their first 24 hours (or so I have read). If this is wrong information, please feel free to tell me. I'm also thinking of dividing the larger of my 2 extra tanks so there aren't so many in all together. So, in total I would have 5 areas for the 17 little ones (if they all end up hatching). That would make 3-4 babies in each area. Is this too many little ones in one area? If so, I'm going to be needing more tanks to house these ones in and would like to be well prepared for when they are born. I'd like to have accurate temps and proper lighting all set up and ready for them before they are born, thus all the extra questions.
