diet change?

hi my 4-5 month old bearded dragon is around 11 inches and eats about 100 crikets (50 each feeding) and i leave veggies in their all day but when do i switch the diet to 80 percent veggies 20 percent meat and how do i do that if u no what i mean thnks

you can gradually increase the number of veggies and decrease the number of crickets every feeding....?

that way, maybe, your bd won't notice and will get use to it.

ok do i just keep leaving veggies in his cage if he eats them all?

Your beardie is at an age where it still needs to eat a lot of live feeders. Don't try to decrease the numbers now. Once it's mostly done growing, it will start to eat a lot less on its own. Mine went through 100+ crickets each day when he was that age. Now, as an adult, he eats maybe 10 superworms a day at the most.

As for vegetables, offer them every day whether he eats them or not. Even if he doesn't like them now, he'll start to eat them more and more as he grows up.

Yes it is, and you're the second person today who's commented about his weight. That pic makes him look fatter than he is. I'm gonna have to change it. He's around 660 grams.
