Desperate for pooping answers

Hi everyone

Since my dragon has been diagnosed with adenovirus, he's just not pooping in his own anymore. Every time he goes in the bath, it's a very laborious and annoying task to massage his stomach only for him to Huff and get upset


Do you think having him on this foot massager is dangerous?

Not sure about that- but you can feed baby food pumpkin to get them to go - how often is he pooping? They don't need to go every day mine don't poop but every couple of weeks - as long as your surface basking temps are good and uvb you should be good

All the temps are good, the constipation is caused by the adenovirus but I have tried all that pumpkin baby food stuff without a difference. He's pooping every 2-3 weeks but only cuz I'm literally massaging his stomach for half an hour in the bath. I'm just wondering if this is a good idea for daily stimulation

Aw, sorry that he has adeno. Try some other things like a bit of cucumber, unsweetened applesauce, baby food prunes or even a little prune juice.

Yeah I'm trying with the baby food. I'm not sure if he likes prunes tho and he definitely won't eat veg anymore

Try the applesauce too if you haven't, maybe with a drop or 2 of raw honey. And the suggestion to take him out in the sun is good. You can also try to get him to exercise in a warm room. Oh, and I don't think the foot massager is dangerous as long as you know how warm it gets. Maybe put a small towel on it in case he has to poo there.

Yes today I plan on taking him outside, especially since it's been so warm here in SC! I'll try to keep giving him the babyfood and see what happens!
