Hi all, Chester is 5 months old and 8" with a nipped tail. Early last week, I think he was impacted. (I had put some sand in bc one of the reptile shops recommended it since he was old enough. I'm taking it all out this weekend and I've been feeding him outside of his tank now) So I bathed him daily and massaged his tummy, on thurs last week he pooped; twice. Once in the morning, another in the evening. They were huge too! But since then, he's been really skinny and he always looks dehydrated! I'm really concerned because I've been bathing him daily and offering food two-three times a day. This week, he's been eating less but I'm pretty sure he's about to shed. He usually doesn't eat much when he's approaching a shed. But I'm really worried that he's dehydrated. His skin always looks wrinkly and I bath him at least once a day and twice a day on mon, wed, and fri bc my schedule permits me to. He doesn't necessarily care for it but he won't drink water (I've tried a baby dropper and offering them in a bowl) or eat veggies even though I've tried all sorts of combinations and ways to offer them to him. He's so stubborn! So baths are really the only option at this point. I think his poop looks like he's getting enough water though. I'll post some pictures.
***WARNING: GRAPHIC PICTURES OF POOP***
(When he seemed impacted, before he pooped. It's kind of hard to tell bc he sucks his gut in when he hunts and eats)
(Still wrinkly and super skinny after another bath)
(Eyes are sunken a bit)
(His poop today; a lot of white urates)
