I'm wanting to design a background for a new enclosure. I'm thinking of taking an old childs castle toy and turning it into the background. If I sealed it and painted it with non-toxic safe paint would it be acceptable for my dragon? I don't want to put it in the enclosure if it's unsafe.

That would probably OK. How much space would it take in the enclosure? If it takes up a lot of space you might be better served printing a photo of an Australian landscape to tape to the back of the enclosure as a visual decoration. I've found that simple "furniture" like flat stones and nice wide pieces of driftwood keep them pretty happy. Things they can both bask on and hide under as they see fit.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
