Daylight Savings Time and Cera

I have been following all the advice on how long to keep the lights on to be sure my dragon gets enough UVB. Well since DST started Cera has been following her own schedule. She gets up at the same time every morning but now instead of staying up until the same bedtime, she goes into her hide early and gives me the LOOK when I bed her down for the night. I guess some days she just needs an early night.

Daisy does that too. She will sometimes go to bed at 7.

Does she give you the" What took you so long" look? In the morning when I uncover her and turn on her small light, she looks at me like my teenagers did when I tried to get them up for school. I got her as an adult and at first I turned on all her lights at the same time; she did not like so rude an awakening. Now I start with a small light and then when she has come out of her cave, the rest of the lights come on. She has me well trained.

lol yes!!! She is up at like 5 every morning. Cosmos is a late sleeper though. He goes to bed at about 11 and gets up at like 9

I'm on Cosmos' schedule. My youngest son was always up at the crack of dawn; the rest of us did not appreciate it. Does Cosmos want to be fed right away? Cera has to have breakfast as soon as she warms up or else she is trying to get out to get it herself.

He wants food right away. He loves food all the time he is a pig

Rosie does not have a set schedule he goes to sleep on his own. Some days he wants to bask until 7 other days I find him passed out at 5. He runs the show :mrgreen:

Cera got up early today and was wide awake so I took her out. She is under the couch right now. She loves to explore and the cats are all sleeping in the bedrooms so she has the run of the house. Very small house and all one level so it is easy to keep her safe. Her favorite spot is looking out the window where I have put books to provide a platform for her. I can't wait to take her outside but it will be awhile yet; we have 2" of snow this morning with more to come.
