Dark patch on nose and tail

One of my dragons has had a dark patch on his nose for maybe a week or 2. I believe it may be nose rub assuming it like my dogs kennel nose. But he also has a patch at the base of his tail that seems odd. Can anyone let me know if I'm worrying too much or what it could be?

Hi there!

It's a little hard to tell from the pictures, but could it just be patches starting to shed? That's what the tail one looks most like to me, but I'm not positive. Sometimes they go weird colors when they're starting to shed. How long have you had him?

We've had him about 6 months. He's my first bearded dragon so I don't know if shedding takes long as they get older. We got him at 3-4 months and it was usually pretty obvious and seemed fast when he shed. Im a terrible worrier so I'm hoping its just me haha

The older they get, the longer the shedding takes, usually. Like I said, not entirely positive, but that could be all it is. Just keep and eye on it, hopefully it turns out to just be shed. If it doesn't seem to bother him when you touch it or anything, it should be just fine. My little guys shed like crazy while they were doing their growing, but they all slowed down when their little growth spurts stopped.
