Dark Color Question

So Bulmers eats right, poops right, and runs around when given the space. All his temps/lighting/supplies are the board recommended. As I said, he's competely normal. I know they darken to attract heat, but sometimes, including right now, he gets extremely dark. He's a sandfire/german giant, so his colors are usually very bright with some orange and yellowish on it. If I were to take him out of his viv right now, he would go right back to normal color. Is this something I should worry about?

The bottom one is his color since he finished shedding last week. The top on is him in his darkened state. Am I over worrying??

It nothing to worry about, it normal for them to change color like that. Mine is similar in color to yours and she also gets really dark.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
