Dangerous food?

Are there any kind of bugs you can give other reptiles that are dangerous for beardies apart from lightning bugs?

I'm just wondering what kind of different things I can get him, because he refuses crickets and only eats locusts and greens. I want to see him take on an armoured cricket, but something tells me the cricket would win! I'm not into bugs, so I don't know what's food and what's a pet haha.
