Cuts on head from digging (bearded dragon)

So my bearded dragon, 1 years old/female, has laid 2 clutches of eggs, the first one had 17 the second had 21 and both were infertile since she had no mate. While she is digging she gets two cuts on the top of her head right above her nostrils. They look deep but I don't know how to help her heal them. I don't know what is safe to put on her to prevent any infection. She will be digging again soon to lay her 3 clutch and I don't want the cuts to get deeper. Any advice would be great!!

What kind of material are you using for her dig box? As far as the cuts go, I'd try to rinse them out and keep them as clean as possible. You can use raw/unpasteurized honey to help protect and heal the cuts but only after you're done with the loose dig box substrate. The honey is so sticky it would just attract more dirt. You could also use plain neosporin (without pain reliever) to help protect the wounds. The key is to keep them as clean as possible to let them heal properly.

That might be a bit grating if she's digging in it. I would create a separate dig box out of a plastic bin using damp play sand and organic topsoil mixture. It should be a consistency that can hold a tunnel structure well. That may be a bit softer on her. I'd get rid of the calcium sand for now as that could get into the cuts and cause infection or irritation.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
